WHAT I DO

 

There are two ways you can work with me to grow your strength– personal training sessions and online coaching.

The key difference is that for personal training, we will be scheduling time together and you will either come to my gym or we’ll meet on Zoom (or a mix of both!), and for online coaching you will be doing your own 3-5 personalized workouts each week with ongoing structured feedback and support from me.

Deal 1–
3 months of personal training

Three months is the perfect amount of time to learn the foundations of lifting and build some gym confidence.

Deal 1 sets you up with 12 one-hour personal training sessions* PLUS personalized workouts to do outside of sessions. You will progress through a series of exercise variations and utilize progressive overload to build strength, stamina, and muscle. Learn how to rest and recover appropriately (with no diet culture BS) and build the skills you need to continue your lifting journey in the future.

*One session per week, to cover roughly 3 months

6 months of personal training

In six months, you will solidify your technique and start seeing some real strength and muscle.

Deal 2 packages together 24 one-hour personal training sessions* with a full week of personalized workouts to create a complete strength program, adaptable for lifters of all levels.

That means 6 months of personal training sessions, individualized workout programming, and direct support to help you towards your goals. Build a solid foundation of strength and then progress further using progressive overload– you could soon be lifting weights you couldn’t even dream of right now 😎

This package is ideal for anyone brand new to working out who ultimately wants to train with barbells, people who are interested in starting powerlifting or Olympic weightlifting, those who need extra accountability, or honestly just anyone who wants to take advantage of my first sale in over a year! 🤪

availability

Unfortunately, my schedule is limited and I am only taking on up to 6 personal training clients for that reason! These are the times I currently have available for NEW personal training clients:

  • Mondays at 4:30pm

  • Tuesdays at 7am/9am/10am (one space, can be any of these times); and 5:30pm

  • Thursdays at 7am/9am/10am (one space, can be any of these times); and 4:30pm

  • Fridays at 1pm

I also have some off-peak availability (weekdays between 10am and 3pm) so if you’re flexible, we can probably figure something out. My coaching hours are generally 7am-6:30pm on Monday to Thursday, and 7am to 2pm on Fridays. I don’t coach on weekends.

If the scheduling goddess has smiled upon us, the next step is to schedule a 30 minute video call where we will talk about your movement history and what you’re looking to get from personal training to make sure we’re a good fit! You can schedule that call here:

 

Email stevie@rockyour.fitness with as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.

Payment will be due at the time of scheduling our first session (normally at the end of the call, or within a few days of the call). Payment via Venmo, PayPal, or cash accepted.

FAQ

I’m an existing client, can I get the Valentines discount?

Yes! You don’t have to schedule a call, just send me an email letting me know which deal you’d like, and how you’re going to make the payment. Payment will be due by the end of this 7 day sale, which is Wednesday 21st Feb.

What if I’ve never lifted or even worked out before?

No problem– personal training is ideal for this! You’ll get detailed, personalized guidance every step of the way and everything we do will be adjust to your level.

I don’t live close to you, Can I still work with you?

Yes! You have two options– personal training on Zoom or online coaching. Personal training on Zoom is similar to in-person, except we’re in our own separate spaces. You’ll need a quiet area with good lighting and a strong internet connection. For both Zoom training and online training, you’ll need at least a set of adjustables dumbbells (5-25lbs pairs).

do you have experience working with disabled people?

Yes, I have experience working with people with disabilities and injuries that require workout modifications. I generally take a slow, collaborative approach to learning what works best for any new client. The gayrage gym does not have stairs, but there is one flight to access the bathroom. Do I need access to a gym to do the workouts between our sessions?

Not really, but it would be nice! Your additional workouts will need weights (we’re strength training here, after all) but that can be dumbbells/kettlebells at home or a fully kitted out gym. We’ll work with what you have.

What is your Covid policy?

The gayrage gym has a large open door and good air flow. I ask that people do not come if they are at all unwell, and that they wear a mask if they have travelled or attended a large event within the last 7 days. I’m happy to mask during sessions upon request.

Are you offering sliding scale?

While I do normally offer a sliding scale, I am not for this particular offer. If a payment plan would make personal training accessible to you and paying in full is a barrier, please feel free to reach out.
